KKDS 2024: Where is the future of digital networks in Pilsen

Over 450 experts and innovators gathered in Pilsen to discuss the latest trends and challenges in digital networks at this year’s “KKDS2024” conference. The event covered a wide range of topics—from the evolution of 5G and 6G networks to the growing importance of IoT to cybersecurity and the expansion of high-capacity networks (VHCN). This annual gathering attracts experts interested in the future of telecommunications, and PEI-Genesis CZ participated in this event for the seventh year.

Key themes and future technologies

One of the main points of discussion was the speed of network development and the increasing demands for data transmission. In an environment where millions of IoT devices are added every year, digital infrastructure faces pressure for high performance, stability and security. Other important directions included innovations in 5G and plans to develop 6G technologies that can revolutionize the speed and capacity of connectivity. These trends confirm that the digital world is placing increasing demands on modern networks – both technical and security.

PEI-Genesis at KKDS 2024

At the event, the PEI-Genesis team had the opportunity to present its technological innovations aimed at stability and resilience of data transmission even in challenging conditions. Our connector and component solutions were presented as part of a comprehensive response to the challenges of digital transformation. PEI-Genesis products were greeted with great interest, especially due to their ability to adapt to the specific needs of customers looking for high-quality and resilient components for the networks of the future. The most interesting feature at our booth was the RESA CC (RESA Compact Closure) solution from HUBER+SUHNER. This innovative solution for faster and more efficient deployment of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology was designed as a compact and modular system that allows for easy installation and minimizes the cost and time associated with building fiber optic networks.
