RESA CC
RESA Compact Closure (RESA CC) from HUBER+SUHNER is an innovative solution for faster and more efficient deployment of Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) technology, especially in areas with single-family homes. This product has been designed as a compact and modular system that allows for easy installation and minimizes the cost and time associated with building fiber optic networks.
Key features and benefits of RESA CC:
1.) Simple and quick installation
RESA CC is installed in two steps:
- Homes Passed Plus: A technician pre-installs the equipment underground at the property line and connects it to the outdoor switchboard
- Homes Connected: the end user then completes the connection directly on their property, either independently or with the help of a specialist.
2.) Cost-effectiveness
Thanks to its pre-installation and modular design, it saves operators not only time but also significant costs for excavation and expert fiber splicing. This also speeds up the entire FTTH network expansion processes.
3.) Minimize environmental impact
Less excavation required and easier coordination with property owners makes deployment less invasive. This practice protects the land and reduces the inconvenience associated with installation.
4.) Flexibility and customer satisfaction
RESA CC allows users to choose when and how they want to complete the connection. This provides greater convenience and strengthens the relationship between provider and customer.
RESA CC technology is designed not only to improve network deployment efficiency, but also to provide a better end-user experience. With its compactness and innovative approach, it sets a new standard in FTTH connectivity.
